After the sweltering heat of last week, we hope to enjoy some milder temperatures at the market this week.

Last week many people said that they had forgot about the market and gone grocery shopping the day prior! It will take time, but Wednesday markets in Fairmount Park will become part of our weekly shopping routine. I kept this in mind as I stopped by the grocery store yesterday, aiming to stretch my market fruit, veggies and meat until next market day I filled my cart with non-market essentials.

This could be the last week of fresh raspberries so be sure to come out to stock the freezer! This week we welcome a new food vendor, Village Kanteen!

Don't forget, the wading pool is open from 2:00-6:00 to come enjoy all that the park has to offer.

Bring a picnic blanket, picnic gear and enjoy the evening at the market!
