How do we show and tell people that we are HERE? Over HERE means so many different things to different people, it can mean we're at Fairmount Park, down in the corner, next to the tennis courts, near Beaton & Wrenson, or to others we're behind Bowmore Public School, or near Beach Hill, or on the edge of Gerrard India Bazaar.
We ended up realizing that where we are has much to do with Gerrard St, and more elementary than that, we can distill where we are down to the letter 'G' and all its associations at our market.
Bring your inner child to the market this week, and help us celebrate the letter 'G'.
It's Garlic Planting Season!
Mark and Arlene run regular demonstrations teaching how and when to plant garlic in a container, and how to mix soil, separate bulbs into cloves, plant and mulch for winter. Also discussed is managing garlic gardens in the spring.
They are now selling seed garlic. Bulbs are $4 each. Organic and local of course.
Check out the Grins from our vendors! Where else can you get such joyful service?!
Thanks Peter Visima for the pics! We love your Grin!
