17 market days later - we are now counting down the days before our last market day of the season. A bitter-sweet moment, to say the least. It has been such a blast! From the first planning meeting at Lazy Daisy with Dawn's tireless encouragement to the first phone call to a farm, meeting inspiring leaders from other markets, to the mural with Nicola, setting up the first tents, the student volunteers, the music, the weather (oh the weather!), the undying support of the community, it goes on and on. The bitter, we will miss EVERY minute, every person, every morsel of food. The sweet, we will take some time to create, plan and plot for next years season!
Bonfire starts "around" 5:00 - depending on weather.
Please, be safe. Children should be with an adult. Unattended children will not be allowed near the bonfire. Costumes are not recommended.
We learned about this band from The East End Boom! Looking forward to their Django style jazz and gypsy dance music for our last market day!

Wooly Wednesday a Big Hit!
Please, send us pics of what you make the Stoddart wool, your street knit projects or any other projects inspired by this day.
The community was so responsive, Sylvia Stoddart has asked to come back once a month next season!
