As we get ready to "root" into the fall, it couldn't be a better time to prepare for the routines of the season. Back to school, back to regular work schedules, putting up produce for the season and switching gear to roasted veggies, soups and stews. This couldn't be a better time to prepare our kitchen tools - particularly our knives; our ultimate tools of efficiency. There is nothing better than a sweetly sharpened knife to cut through squash or gently slice through tomatoes.
We're honoured to bring @sharpmyknife to this weeks market, yes, mobile sharpening at the park! They sharpen almost anything from kitchen knives to scissors, paper cutters to garden & workshop tools. Their specialty is culinary knives.
Bring your chef, bread, boning, paring, tourning, serrating, steak knives, kitchen scissors, rotating blender blades, mandolin blades, and all those sharp things in your kitchen for sharpening.
Cost per kitchen knife sharpening (incl. serrated) & scissors: $1.00 per blade inch.
